I'm Carlos Buentello, founder of CB Strategic Advisors. I started this firm because I saw the same pattern over and over: small and mid-size businesses doing extraordinary work, but stuck without access to the kind of seasoned operational and financial leadership that larger companies take for granted.
Over more than two decades, I've served as CFO and senior financial executive across healthcare, transportation, logistics, real estate, and public-sector organizations — most recently as VP & CFO at Valley Day & Night Clinic, where I led the digital transformation of a multi-clinic system and reduced organizational expenses by $1.25 million in the first year. Earlier, as CFO of Tri-County Kids Care, I structured and led a $1M acquisition that grew combined revenues from $750K to $2.5M in twelve months. As CFO of Codysur Group, I refinanced $16M in debt from 8.5% to 4.99% APR and added $1.76M to equity. My background spans finance, operations, HR, technology integration, M&A, and AI implementation — which is why my practice covers more than the typical specialist consultant.
